How to make money online

Tell your friends about this page

There are lots of “get rich quick” schemes on offer. Most of them will only get the person selling them rich, quickly or otherwise. You need to be as vigilant for the con-artist and scam-merchant online as off, so don’t do what some people do, and forget your skepticism just because you’re using the internet.

So, how to tell the good from the bad?

Well, it’s pretty easy: if an offer sounds too good to be true it’s almost certainly worthless. There are a couple of notable exceptions… In fact I can only think of one that is definitely NOT a scam. That’s the Thirty Day Challenge – the one run by Ed Dale and Dan Raine (I noticed another company promoting their own course under the same name, so be careful you find the right one). This is the only decent completely free course for total beginners that I know of, and if you’ve never done anything online before, it’s definitely the place to start.

The Thirty Day Challenge runs every year (for the past 4 years) during the month of August, but don’t despair – all the lessons, the supporting videos and so on, are all still available for you to use, and if you sign up, Ed will send you regular emails telling you what to do next. The advantage you have doing it “off season” so to speak is that you can go a bit slower if you prefer, although after the first few days, there’s not a lot of work involved each day (Ed says about an hour a day).

Even if you’re not a beginner, if you haven’t done the Challenge, it’s well worth going through the course, as Ed and Dan always come up with new “wrinkles” on the old methods, and you will most likely find that it will give you some fresh angles on what you are doing.

Ed and Dan’s Challenge is so easy that even children can follow along with it to make some extra money. In fact, many home-schoolers were participants this August, and several of them were amazingly successful.
